Donating for Afghanistan Earthquake Relief
Donating for Afghanistan Earthquake Relief
On Sunday, October 8th, an estimated two thousand people were killed or injured due to earthquakes that took place in northwestern Afghanistan. For those seeking to donate to charities engaged in relief efforts, BBB Wise Giving Alliance recommends supporting experienced disaster relief charities. New organizations may have difficulty in following through even if they have the best of intentions. The following list of BBB Accredited Charities (i.e., meets the 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability) are soliciting for Afghanistan relief efforts. This list will be expanded as additional BBB Accredited relief organizations come to our attention.
Helping Hand for Relief and Development
International Medical Corps
International Rescue Committee
