Stated Purpose:

Saving lives through quality breast health services, advocacy and access to care for all.

Quality Breast Health Services-The Rose provides direct medical services including breast cancer screening, comprehensive diagnostics, physician consultation and patient navigation to treatment regardless of ability to pay.

Advocacy- The Rose's leadership in advocacy encompasses one-on-one patient advocacy in obtaining critical diagnostic and treatment medical services as well as championing broader state and national issues that impact patient care.

Access to Care- The Rose's top priority, access to care, includes addressing geography availability, eliminating financial, cultural and age barriers by reaching the medically underserved through collaboration and innovative programs.

Every woman deserves quality breast health care.  Every woman deserves The Rose.

The Rose addresses many of the barriers that stop women from caring for their own needs.  Studies show women often put their personal needs ‘on hold’ while tending to the needs of others. Many women also cite cost and lack of access as reasons they delay preventive health services. Yet, early detection through mammography screenings is the most powerful weapon in the fight against breast cancer.  When detected early, breast cancer is  98% curable.
Every service offered by The Rose is available to uninsured women through the Empower Her® Sponsorship Program. From the initial screening mammogram, through diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound and biopsies as well as access to treatment -- all are part of the "quality breast health care" offered at The Rose.

Same day diagnosis, special programs for young women, on-site physicians dedicated to breast health care, advanced digital technology -- all reflect The Rose's emphasis on quality and excellence. The Rose collaborates with the top rated medical organizations and reaches women throughout Southeast  Texas.

The Rose provides the uninsured woman the same chance at life and survivorship as the insured woman.
