The Texas Medical Center maintains and operates the following program activities: Parking Operations, Commons Maintenance and Security Services, Leasing Operations, and Food Services. Parking Operations: maintenance, security, and shuttle services for parking facilities within the Texas Medical Center campuses. Services are available to more than 125,000 people each day. Commons Maintenance and Security Services: providing maintenance, grounds keeping, and security to the streets, sidewalks, paths, parkways, esplanades, and other areas which are of general benefit to all the member institutions. Leasing Operations: leasing of tenant improvement space in Texas Medical Center's approximately 600,000 and 68,000 sq. foot facilities for use by member institutions as offices, laboratories, and similar facilities in support of healthcare, research, and education. Food services: providing a multi-choice food court, cafe, and Italian restaurant for the convenience of Texas Medical Center visitors and employees. Texas Medical Center has approximately 7.2 million annual patient visits.
