Government Action
In March 2026, the State of Alaska filed a lawsuit against For Good that takes issue with the organization engaging in fundraising on behalf of other charities through its website. They allege, in part, that For Good broke the law by not having the subject charities’ consent before creating fundraising pages for them and potentially misleading donors by giving the impression that charities created or controlled those fundraising pages, when they did not.
The lawsuit (Case No. 3AN-26-CI) is currently ongoing, with no settlement or final judgment.
