Citizens for Animal Protection, founded in 1972, is committed to:

-  Sheltering, rescuing and placing homeless animals in loving homes;
-  Advocating respect and compassion for all animal life;
-  Providing humane education to prevent animal cruelty;

CAP promotes a variety of programs stressing both the moral and the
practical need for public concern in the area of animal protection. We
promote responsible pet guardianship including the importance of
spay/neuter to reduce the animal overpopulation crisis.
