American Leadership Forum - Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

The American Leadership Forum (ALF) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to join and strengthen diverse leaders to serve the common good.

Program Fellows are selected each year, drawing from the arts, nonprofit corporate government and political media, education, philanthropic and religious sectors. Fellows are selected to represent the broad range of perspectives that exist within
sectors; such as, Criminal Justice, Community Development, Medical and Education.
The Fellowship Program graduates Senior Fellows who are empowered to serve as catalysts in their communities, bringing stakeholders from other sectors together to collaboratively address the most urgent public concerns. Through its Senior Fellow programs, ALF leverages the talent, commitment and connections that have been developed to create unique opportunities for leaders from different spheres to work together for a better community.
Today, American Leadership Forum has over 1,600 Senior Fellows in the Houston/Gulf Coast network; over 85 events were held to engage Senior Fellows in enhancing relationships, strengthening their capacity to collectively address public issues and to explore some of the most important issues facing our region; $58,500 worth of scholarships were awarded to insure that all deserving leaders were able to participate in our program and that all areas of our community were represented; and 50 new leaders joined our network and participated in more than 530 hours of the Fellows Program, in which they learned collaborative leadership skills, modeled servant leadership, and created opportunities to work together.
