Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) seeks to accelerate the prevention, treatment, and cure of lymphatic disease by bringing patients and medical professionals together to address the unmet needs surrounding lymphatic disorders, which include lymphedema and lipedema. The organization sponsors fellowship grants to scientists and clinicians to expand the pool of investigators in lymphatic research. In addition, LE&RN maintains a patient registry and biorepository which provides researchers with access to patient information and tissue samples to further research discoveries. The LE&RN Centers of Excellence also provide a network of multidisciplinary clinical care and service centers for individuals and families affected by lymphatic disease. Through LE&RN's education initiatives, the organization livestreams symposiums, publishes a peer-reviewed journal, and shares weekly newsletters.
