Standard 16 (Annual Report)
Have an annual report available to all, on request, that includes: (a) the organization's mission statement, (b) a summary of the past year's program service accomplishments, (c) a roster of the officers and members of the board of directors, (d) financial information that includes (i) total income in the past fiscal year, (ii) expenses in the same program, fund raising and administrative categories as in the financial statements, and (iii) ending net assets.
JWI does not meet this Standard because the 2020 annual report did not include:
- Financial information matching the organization's audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2020.
JustWorld International meets the remaining 19 Standards for Charity Accountability.
JustWorld International (JWI) provides education and nutrition programs to children from under-resourced communities. The organization funds global humanitarian programs that help children who fall beyond the reach of government or other large-scale programs to address the gaps in education. JWI also provides an opportunity for equestrians and individuals to learn about, experience, and contribute to a global campaign against poverty. The organization reports that thousands of international equestrians raise awareness and act as representatives for JWI at horse shows and events and fundraise for the organization's programs. JWI reports that it currently provides for more than 9,000 children at partner projects around the world in the United States, Cambodia, Guatemala, and Honduras.

Note: In 2020, previous Executive Director, Mary P. Newsome, received $75,000 in compensation. Ms. Newsome resigned in November 2021. The current Interim Executive Director, Hilary Betaille, is a volunteer receiving no compensation.
