Islamic Scholarship Fund meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

Stated Purpose:
The Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) empowers American Muslim leaders in policy, law, media, and film to create a world where race, religion, gender, and socioeconomic status are no longer barriers to equity and equality. A registered U.S. nonprofit, ISF increases American Muslim presence in policy/government, law, media/journalism, and film--fields shown to have the highest impact on public policy and public opinion. Since our founding in 2009, ISF’s programs have served as a catalyst for American Muslim undergraduate and post-graduate students, future lawyers and policymakers, and emerging filmmakers to attain professional success and create an equitable world for all marginalized groups.

Year, State Incorporated:
2007, CA

Over the past 12 years, ISF has awarded $2.25 million to 512+ American Muslims through our comprehensive Cycle of Support. This Cycle begins with undergraduate, post-graduate, and law school scholarships, as well as peer-to-peer and professional mentorships, and continues with prestigious internships, fellowships, and film grants to help ISF changemakers launch their careers in their field of study.

Following this model, its primary programs are:

- Academic Scholarships
- Mentorships
- Judicial Internships
- Congressional Policy Internships
- Congressional Policy Fellowships
