Children's Rights meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

Stated Purpose:

Through strategic advocacy and legal action, Children’s Rights holds governments accountable for keeping kids safe and healthy in child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and healthcare systems.

Year, State Incorporated:
1994, NY

Children’s Rights uses a uniquely effective blend of advocacy and litigation, supported by deep networks of child and family advocates, to achieve systemic change in child-serving systems of care. We use the full force of law to protect children by overhauling failing state-run systems, and when laws themselves are unjust, we work to advance child-centered policy solutions. Individuals with lived experience in these systems are engaged in our advocacy, ensuring close proximity to the systemic injustices we confront.
