The agency provides a variety of services for older adults including paid job-training, alcohol and drug treatment and prevention, mental health, non-medical personal care and homecare, Meals on Wheels, emergency food and volunteer services with the goal of promoting independence and self reliance, helping older adults to avoid premature institutionalization, and to help alleviate the problems of poverty among the elderly.
