Urban Pathways meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
As a data-driven and innovative leader, Urban Pathways ensures
that homeless and at-risk New Yorkers have the housing, services and support
they need to be self-sufficient.
Year, State Incorporated:
1975, NY
For lives that have been shattered by homelessness, Urban Pathways offers men and women the tools and support they need to rebuild. We support at-risk and homeless New Yorkers by providing housing and comprehensive services that help individuals make informed choices for their future and move toward greater independence.
For 45 years, Urban Pathways has engaged New York City's most vulnerable residents - at-risk and homeless men and women, many of whom live with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Our continuum of services supports each individual on their journey - many of the people we serve participate in multiple programs along this continuum as they move toward accessing and maintaining permanent housing.
For the year ended June 30, 2024, Urban Pathways's program expenses were:
| Housing programs | $28,323,488 |
| Non-housing programs | $13,448,653 |
| Total Program Expenses | $41,772,141 |
