Southwest Center meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
The mission of SWC is to recognize and affirm the unique gifts of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them in utilizing their talents to live fulfilling lives within their communities. SWC deliver over 2,600 programs a year focused on life skills, exercise, nutrition, and creative expression. Additionally, more than 1,000 community engagements enable participants to explore and enjoy various Louisville attractions and regional travel destinations, offering them the freedom to experience new places and activities.
