The Aqua Ability Program is a combination of rehabilitative aquatic therapy, water exercise, and adaptive swimming instruction, individually or in small groups(2 or 3). Each participant has a customized program to enable the person to achieve better overall health, mobility, and psycho/social well-being, improving their quality of life. The program is targeted for people with developmental and acquired (individuals 22 years of age and over who have sustained a traumatic injury that results in a permanent, life-long disability) disabilities. The conditions presented in the program include cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, Down syndrome, intellectual disability, Autism spectrum of disorders, spinal cord injury, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.
