Puente Learning Center meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
PUENTE is an acronym for "People United to Enrich the Neighborhood Through Education." PUENTE is also the Spanish word for "bridge," since the organization provides a bridge to opportunity, learning, and economic self-sufficiency.

Children
PUENTE Preschool and Charter Elementary School provides CA State Preschool Program (serves 42), transitional kindergarten/kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade (serves 165). Charter School to serve grades TK-5, adding one grade level each year through 2022.
Afterschool and Summer Camp Enrichment Afterschool Enrichment is offered in partnership with Think Together during the academic year (serves 80). Additionally, PUENTE serves pre-K-6 students during its 4-week Summer Camp to avoid the "summer slide" loss of knowledge (serves 150).
Youth.
College and Career Starting in 9th grade and providing continual services for up to 10 years, the program empowers students to graduate high school, persist through college, obtain a competitive STEM degree, and realize professional success (serves 415).
Adults
High School Diploma & HiSET Certification promotes lifelong learning for adults through partnerships with Los Angeles Unified School District and Los Angeles City College (serves 299).
ESL Classes empower parents and adults to gain needed language skills so they can engage more actively in their children's education or improve their economic opportunities. Classes are offered in partnerships with Los Angeles Unified School District and Los Angeles City College (serves 873).
Digital Initiatives creates pathways to gainful and skills-based employment for adults seeking to increase their job opportunities (serves 115).
Community.
Community Engagement brings partners to the facility to provide supportive services such as Financial Literacy and Immigration - Know Your Rights workshops (serves 572).
