After School Program
North Fairmount Community Center's After-School Program provides free, high-quality programming for children in the North Fairmount community. Our program offers a safe, supportive environment where students receive homework help, academic enrichment, healthy snacks and dinner, arts and crafts, physical activity, and opportunities to build positive relationships with caring adult mentors. We focus on improving academic success, building confidence, developing social and leadership skills, and encouraging positive decision-making. By removing financial barriers, every child has access to a structured after-school program that helps them learn, grow, and thrive while providing families with a safe, reliable place for their children during the critical after-school hours.

Summer Camp Program
North Fairmount Community Center's Summer Camp provides a free, safe, and engaging summer experience for children in the North Fairmount community. The program helps prevent summer learning loss by combining academic enrichment with fun, hands-on activities that promote personal growth and healthy development. Campers participate in reading, math, arts and crafts, STEM activities, recreation, field trips, financial literacy, and team-building exercises while building friendships and developing leadership skills. Healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided daily. By offering Summer Camp at no cost, we remove financial barriers and ensure every child has access to a positive, structured environment where they can learn, grow, and create lasting memories during the summer months.

Cricut Entrepreneurship Class
North Fairmount Community Center's Cricut Entrepreneurship Class provides free, hands-on training that teaches participants how to use Cricut design and cutting machines while developing valuable entrepreneurial skills. Participants learn to create custom products such as apparel, home décor, gifts, and promotional items while gaining experience in product design, branding, pricing, marketing, budgeting, and small business basics. The program encourages creativity, builds confidence, and equips participants with practical skills that can lead to self-employment, supplemental income, or future career opportunities. By removing financial barriers, the class empowers individuals to turn their creativity into economic opportunity while strengthening financial independence and workforce readiness.

Community Support Program
North Fairmount Community Center's Community Support Program provides free food assistance, resource navigation, and affordable housing opportunities to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. Through regular food distributions, we help reduce food insecurity by providing nutritious groceries and essential items to those in need. The program also offers affordable housing to help individuals and families achieve safe, stable living environments. In addition, participants receive referrals to community resources and supportive services that address basic needs and promote long-term stability. By meeting immediate needs while connecting clients to ongoing support, the Community Support Program helps strengthen families, reduce barriers, and improve the overall well-being of our community.

Mission Renewed Program
Mission Renewed is a free veterans resource navigation and support program that helps veterans and their families connect with the benefits, services, and community resources they have earned. Our Veterans Outreach Coordinator provides personalized assistance with VA benefits, employment and job training, housing, food and clothing assistance, legal resources, mental health referrals, caregiver support, education benefits, identification, service records, transportation, and utility, rent, and mortgage assistance. The program also offers peer support and resource navigation to help veterans overcome barriers, improve stability, and successfully transition to long-term independence. Mission Renewed is committed to honoring those who served by ensuring they have access to the support needed to thrive.

Social Worker Services Program
North Fairmount Community Center's Social Worker Services provide free case management and resource navigation to individuals and families facing financial hardship or personal challenges. Our social worker helps clients identify their needs, develop individualized plans, and connect with community resources, including food assistance, housing support, utility assistance, healthcare, mental health services, employment resources, transportation, and other essential services. We work alongside each client to reduce barriers, promote stability, and improve overall well-being. Financial Literacy Class

Angels Arms Free Store Program
Angel's Arms Free Store provides free clothing, household items, hygiene products, and other essential necessities to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship in the North Fairmount community and surrounding neighborhoods. The store operates with a dignity-first approach, allowing visitors to choose the items they need in a welcoming, respectful environment.
