Year, State Incorporated:
1993, OH

-Home Care Aide Training and job retention support for 25 at-risk job seekers.

-Aspire and Career Assessments: Workplace assessments and testing using KeyTrain and WorkKeys are provided for 150 individuals annually to identify their aptitude for a specific career pathway.

-Hospital Worker Readiness Program for 35 individuals who demonstrate an interest in, and aptitude for, a health care career in a hospital setting. Participants complete a three-week program that includes components of the Health Care Core Curriculum from the University of Minnesota. Graduates are directly connected to local hospitals for employment in entry-level positions.

-State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) training for 50 individuals annually. Our unique program design was developed using feedback from program participants to meet their needs of an affordable fee, more time in the skills lab, and a part-time schedule that enables them to work part time and balance caring for their families.

-Senior and Supportive Services: Monthly services for 220 older adults, including advocacy, spiritual visits, social activities, financial management and counseling, and access to our food pantry.

-Workforce Supportive Services for those currently enrolled in or graduated from MNM workforce development programs, or those who are employed with one of MNM’s employer partners, to engage with one of MNM’s Resource Navigators. Resource Navigators connect individuals with community resources such as rent/mortgage and utility assistance, transportation support, and food access, which enable them to retain employment and move towards financial stability for their household.

-Protective Payee program for 25 individuals with mental or emotional challenges.
