Jewish Family & Career Services core service areas include Career Services, Counseling Services, Family Strengthening, Jewish Life, Klein Older Adult Services, and the Navigate Enterprise Center. Career Services staff work diligently to help people navigate career exploration and transition options. Services include assessment and exploration, counseling and coaching, job search preparation, pre-employment transition services, re-credentialing and career laddering for refugees and immigrants, as well as vocational evaluation and workshops. Counseling staff help individuals, couples, and families improve their emotional well-being and realize their life goals. Family Strengthening staff help people navigate life’s challenges and changes through a client-centered case management approach. Klein Older Adult Services staff help older adults live with dignity and independence and help families through the aging process. It offers care coordination, counseling, family caregiving support, grandparents raising grandchildren support, long-term care planning, PALS transportation service, senior concierge homecare, and various support groups. Navigate Enterprise Center staff help people pursue entrepreneurship and economic self-sufficiency. It accomplishes this through business marketing assistance, business training and individual consulting, financial education and credit building, as well as microlending for underserved entrepreneurs.
