Hope’s Door seeks to end domestic violence and to empower survivors to achieve safety, independence, and healing from the trauma of abuse.

Hotline: Our 24/7 hotline is the gateway to all Hope’s Door services. Call 888-438-8700. Speak up for yourself or for someone who can’t.
Spanish-Language Help Line: Spanish-speaking victims may call (914) 747-0828  x1019.
Safety Planning and Danger Assessments: We help survivors assess their level of danger and educate them in safety strategies. 
Emergency Shelter: We offer a welcoming environment where the residents can find safety, experience peace of mind, heal physically and emotionally, and plan for a future without abuse.
Counseling and Support Groups: We counsel and offer support group services for women, men, and children affected by abuse.
Information and Referral: We maintain a directory of community resources and help survivors access resources to secure safety, justice, independence, and healing from the trauma of abuse.
Next Step Economic Empowerment Program: We promote the economic empowerment and self-sufficiency of survivors of domestic violence.
Advocacy: We advocate, teach self-advocacy skills, accompany survivors to court, and work with legal service providers to pursue safety and justice.
Multi-cultural and Special Needs Services: We offer culturally appropriate services tailored to Latin, Hispanic, Asian, Muslim, LGBTQ, differently-abled and other special needs victims.
Children’s Program: We work with children to break the cycle of violence, learn safety strategies, and begin to heal.
Love Shouldn’t Hurt Prevention Program: We empower young people with the skills to recognize a healthy relationship and the strategies to help themselves and others at risk of abuse.
Northern Westchester Risk Reduction Team: This pilot project offers enhanced, coordinated services to victims in Bedford, Lewisboro, North Salem, Pound Ridge, and Somers with the goal of reducing domestic violence fatalities.
Community Education and Outreach: We offer educational programs tailored to individual and organizational needs.
