The Girls Inc. experience teaches success in three key areas for girls in the elementary through high school age range: strong-healthy living, smart-academic success, bold-life skills. Girls Inc. has 59 years of service in Chattanooga and served more than 800 girls last year.
89% of girls in Bookworm Club (K-3) are reading at or above grade level.
99% of girls who graduate from our teen programs go on to college.
It offers hands-on, age appropriate programming through after-school, in-school and seasonal day camps in brick and mortar as well as virtual settings. Programs provide a girls-only environment where professionally trained staff help participants build life skills and become part of a network of peers who share their drive and aspirations. With this critical support, its girls thrive and overcome barriers. Girls Inc. is an essential part of the community.
