Episcopal Charities Of The Diocese Of New York meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

Stated Purpose:
Episcopal Charities transforms the lives of those in need.

Year, State Incorporated:
1996, NY

Episcopal Charities currently supports 103 community outreach programs in partnership with Episcopal congregations throughout the Diocese of New York. We fight hunger through food pantries and community kitchens. We strengthen communities through skills-building programs that offer a path to success for the unemployed, recent immigrants and the formerly incarcerated re-entering society. We protect the most vulnerable through health and wellness programs that improve quality of life for senior citizens, the homebound, children with special needs, and recovering substance abusers. We create opportunities for the next generation through children’s arts, academic enrichment, and summer recreation programs. In the true spirit of outreach, every program is free of religious content, welcoming one and all. Programs focus in one of two areas: Basic Human Needs or Youth Opportunity grants. In addition to funding, Episcopal Charities provides free workshops and webinars to program staff, operational assistance and volunteer coordination to match skilled and unskilled volunteers with program needs.

For the year ended December 31, 2021, Episcopal Charities Of The Diocese Of New York's program expenses were:
