Elijah Rising meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

Stated Purpose:
To end sex trafficking through prayer, awareness, intervention, and restoration.

Year, State Incorporated:
2013, TX

Over the last decade, Elijah Rising has initiated over 94,000 minutes of prayer, hosted more than 22,000 participants in educational efforts, and reached 8 million people through digital outreach. Elijah Rising's field teams have conducted more than 15,000 direct engagements with individuals in trafficking situations—on the streets, in illicit massage parlors, and clubs—offering compassion, support, and a safe way out.

Four programs focus on loving those trapped in sexual exploitation.
Awareness & Advocacy: Elijah Rising equips churches, schools, and community groups to recognize and respond to trafficking through educational van tours, the Elijah Rising Podcast, and a digital museum that brings awareness to this issue.
Intervention: Elijah Rising trained street teams conduct weekly outreach to women being trafficked, building trust and offering resources. Elijah Rising also partners with law enforcement and other nonprofits to coordinate crisis responses and emergency exits.
Restorative Care: The Elijah Rising Restorative Care Program (ERRC) offers long-term, trauma-informed residential recovery for women survivors of sex trafficking. Since launching the ERRC in 2018, Elijah Rising has served over 100 survivors and 12 children.

Services provided include:
24/7 safe housing
On-site licensed clinical therapy
Addiction recovery coaching
GED and vocational education
Workforce development partnerships
Dental and medical assistance
Legal representation
Discipleship and spiritual mentoring

Transitional Housing Program (ERTP): In response to persistent gaps in post-program support, Elijah Rising is expanding its continuum of care to include transitional housing. Survivors exiting long-term restoration face significant barriers such as poor credit, lack of rental history, and limited employment access. Our Transitional Housing Program addresses these through affordable housing, continued case management, financial education, and employment coaching. Participants pay graduated rent, helping them build independence and rental history.
