Change Today, Change Tomorrow meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

Stated Purpose:
Change Today, Change Tomorrow is devoted to removing barriers to resources and improving the wellbeing of low-income families living in the West End of Louisville. As a Black-women-led organization, it fulfills this mission by challenging the systems and institutions that have and continue to create obstacles for marginalized communities. Since its inception in 2019, it has served over 60,000 residents under its three main pillars of service: Food Justice, Public Health, and Community Engagement.

Change Today, Change Tomorrow has a variety of programs that range from a Food Justice initiative that encompasses its food delivery program, Feed the West, as well as food pantries, grocery pop-ups, and Healthy Change, an event that distributes healthy and local black-owned goods to residents. The nonprofit’s Public Health Initiative encompasses a Community Baby Shower, Umoja (an unhoused outreach program); it’s Friday, Period. (Feminine hygiene access), and HIV/AIDS awareness series (education and testing events). The Community Engagement encompasses events such as Bless the Block (annual present distribution), The Change-Up (volunteer appreciation), and The Black Recharge (community wellness even).
