CEK RN Consulting, Inc. identified a need for navigating the healthcare system as well as need to interpret medical terminology and information clients received from their doctor’s appointments or other healthcare providers. CEK RN Consulting, Inc.'s Community Health Workers, provide health coaching and care coordination, and assess for Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) and make appropriate referrals. They may accompany their clients to their appointments to help them to understand what the healthcare providers were recommending. Often clients are even more confused as to how to take the prescribed medications and who will advocate for their next steps after surgery. CEK RN Consulting, Inc. was created to advocate, educate, and empower patients in navigating through this complex health care system.
