In a spirit of solidarity, Solidarity Bridge partners with communities in Bolivia and Paraguay to increase access to safe, affordable surgery and other essential health care.

Solidarity Bridge works in partnership with the medical communities of Bolivia and Paraguay to increase access to safe, essential, and timely surgical care. With its partners, Solidarity Bridge operates four year-round surgical programs: general surgery, gynecologic surgery, heart surgery, and neurosurgery. Rooted in values of solidarity, mutuality and bi-directional learning, Solidarity Bridge connects US medical practitioners to their peers in each country and together, work to build a healthier future. Through year-round virtual exchanges and short-term medical mission trips, Solidarity Bridge provides surgical care, training in advanced surgical skills, and procurement of critical surgical equipment and supplies. Since 1999, Solidarity Bridge has served more than 31,000 patients and performed more than 8,000 surgeries.
