Masonic Homes Kentucky provides and maintains a home for widows and orphans of deceased Masons of Kentucky and provides skilled nursing medical care. It provides and maintains affordable pediatric day care for medically fragile and traditional children in an inclusive environment. Masonic Homes Kentucky charitable care is provided regardless of affiliation and is needs-based and ongoing.
Recipients of charitable care are provided with quality housing, personal care, general living necessities, medical needs, wheel chairs, glasses, dental care, transportation, meals, clothing, and more. In 2012, Masonic Homes Kentucky established Sproutlings Pediatric Daycare & Preschool and it is the only Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center in the region that fully integrates every child, every day. Sproutlings provides a groundbreaking approach to caring for medically fragile kids and supporting parents. It is a happy space with services and resources that meet the needs of those children who require continuous therapeutic or skilled nursing supervision or typical children needing traditional day care and preschool. It uses a fully inclusive approach so every child can learn, play, heal, and grow with one another. Sproutlings serves children ages 6 weeks old to 6 years old and currently has 130 children enrolled.
