Lupus Foundation of America Indiana Chapter’s research works to improve the day-to-day lives of people with Lupus. The organization provides hope as they work towards earlier diagnosis, improved care, and treatments. Lupus Foundation supports lupus researchers at every stage of their careers to ensure there is a well-trained and dedicated talent pool to conduct investigators into the causes, treatments, and cures for lupus. The organization funds innovative scientific initiatives and research studies to identify the causes of lupus, discover better ways to control symptoms, and, ultimately, find pathways to cure lupus.
Lupus Foundation’s Public Information and Education is an ongoing program to create awareness about lupus. An awareness program such as “Could This Be Lupus” works to help with earlier diagnosis and better patient outcomes. Lupus Foundation’s Patient Information and Education is a series of programs that educate patients and their families about lupus. These programs provide patients with a better understanding of how to manage a chronic disease, along with family and friends.
