Our mission is to provide care, support, and education programs for families in need, and to be advocates for local families who are coping with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center (ADRC) provides a broad range of programs and services for people with the disease, families, care partners, residential care professionals, and professional health care providers. We also participate in a nationwide identification program to assist in the safe and timely return of individuals who have wandered from home. ADRC's resource library located at the Resource Center is a vast and growing collection dedicated exclusively to Alzheimer's disease and dementia, which provides reference and research services, reading lists, and video guides on Alzheimer-related topics.  ADRC also provides comprehensive training programs for formal and informal caregivers and offers a number of Support Groups in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, as well as virtual group meetings.
