ALS of Michigan meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.

                            "ALS of Michigan is dedicated to helping people with ALS, their families and caregivers live life as fully as possible."

ALS of Michigan helps people with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, live as comfortably as possible as their disease progresses and their health declines.  Services also provide support to caregivers and family members.  Programs and services include:  
-  Loans of medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, ramps and lifts.  
- Home health aides to help with caregiving and household tasks.
- Communication devices and training.
- Support groups and seminars on ALS.
- Support calls and home visits.
- Transportation assistance.
