Midwest Geriatrics, Inc. or MGI, is an Omaha-based, nonprofit organization. Housed in Florence Home, MGI serves as the management team for Florence Home Healthcare Center, Royale Oaks Assisted Living, House of Hope Memory Care, House of Hope Assisted Living, Senior Health Foundation, and Gerimed Pharmacy. Florence Home was established in 1906 and is truly the cornerstone of senior care in Omaha. Florence Home provides long term care and short term rehabilitation for individuals needing support in their recovery from an injury, surgery or illness. Royale Oaks and House of Hope Assisted Living provide personalized care and assistance with daily care needs. House of Hope Memory Care provides specialized memory care services for individuals affected by Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Gerimed Pharmacy provides specialized geriatric pharmaceutical services to long term care communities as well as serving the staff and local community. Senior Health Foundation, located in Florence Home, provides fund raising support for the healthcare family of Midwest Geriatrics. Meeting its mission to serve individuals from all income levels requires financial support from non-traditional sources. Fundraising, grants, annual appeals, support from philanthropists and other foundations are managed through Senior Health Foundation.
