LifeSpan Resources provides services to the elderly and persons with disabilities including in-home services, transportation, meals, health screenings/programs, legal services, Senior Games, and outreach services. The Aging and Disability Resource Center provides information and assistance to individuals needing either public or private resources, professionals seeking assistance on behalf of their clients, and individuals planning for their future long-term care needs. Options Counseling serves as the single point of entry for a variety of supportive services for frail older persons and individuals with disabilities. The Options Counselor helps identify needs and link clients with community services so they may remain in their homes. The Nutrition Program provides a hot mid-day meal Monday through Friday to senior citizens at nutrition sites in each county. Homebound delivery of frozen meals is also available. In-Home Services link clients to services that assist them in remaining in their homes. The services are available following an assessment to determine program eligibility and need. Transportation services provides transportation to medical appointments, nutrition sites, doctors, social service organizations, and other locations. The Long-Term Care Ombudsman program assists residents of long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult foster care homes with complaints or concerns. The Caregiver Support Program is designed to meet the individual needs of caregivers and their situations. Services include information and assistance, respite care, and other supplemental services.
