Lincoln Foundation’s Whitney M. Young Leadership Initiative serves students from under-resourced households in metropolitan Louisville. The Initiative comprises the Whitney M. Young Scholars Program (WYSP), the College Transition Enrichment Program (CTEP), and the Future Leaders Internship Program (FLIP). WYSP prepares middle and high school students for college selection, application, and admission. CTEP initially helps to ensure a successful transition from high school to college. It then provides mentoring, guidance, and support until degree attainment. FLIP assists in securing career-related internships for college juniors and seniors.
