Also Known As:
Help Us Grow Foundation
The H.U.G. & WIN program is an innovative initiative designed to support young readers and prevent reading loss during school breaks. Created through the teamwork of the Help Us Grow Foundation and ReadingEggs.com, it ensures that children continue to build and strengthen their confidence and reading skills in a fun, engaging way. Through interactive educational games, students remain motivated and excited about learning, all while earning rewards such as $30 in gift cards for their participation. By transforming reading into an enjoyable and rewarding experience, the HUG and Win program helps foster a love for literacy and empowers children to stay on track academically, even during the winter and summer breaks. The Digital Navigators program is designed to encourage senior citizens by providing essential digital literacy skills. Through personalized support, participants learn to navigate web browsers, use video conferencing platforms like Zoom, access healthcare portals, and safely manage online communications. It aims to bridge the digital divide, enhance independence, and improve overall quality of life by helping seniors stay connected, access vital services, and confidently engage in an increasingly digital world. The H.U.G At Home program provides tutoring at home over the summer. It is an extension of the nonprofit’s usual tutoring sessions in the fall and spring semesters but offered throughout the summer as a paid service.
