3rd Decade meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
To change financial furtures forever starting NOW.
Year, State Incorporated:
2019,
3rd Decade's mission is to change financial futures forever, starting now. We strive to help participants make simple changes in their financial behavior, create long-term financial goals, and equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to be successful in securing their financial futures. The 3rd Decade program is a two-year program composed of three core components: 10 hours of financial education, a 2-year relationship with one of our volunteer financial mentors, and a $250 contribution to a Roth IRA upon graduation. We serve young adults ages 18-35 with below to moderate incomes that have a commitment to beginning their financial success journey. Our program has grown to over 1,000 active participants across the country (36 states) with nearly 1,000 participants having graduated from the program.
