New Americans Initiative meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
The vision of New Americans Initiative is for foreign-born Kentuckians to be educated, engaged, and empowered in civic engagement through voting and active political participation. Its mission to achieve this is by ensuring that all eligible immigrants and refugees become naturalized citizens and engaged voters in the Commonwealth.
Year, State Incorporated:
2015, KY
In order to fully engage naturalized citizens in the system of representative democracy, New Americans Initiative seeks to establish an infrastructure and a pipeline to ensure that people find pathways to citizenship through legal representation.
