Community Shares of Colorado’s Community Giving Campaign raises funds for nonprofit organizations via workplace giving campaigns. The organization partners with businesses who invite their employees to make donations. Community Shares of Colorado’s Building Community program works to create relationships with charities, donors, and businesses to increase community participation, education, volunteerism, and philanthropy across the state. The organization’s Non-Profit Sustainability program provides leadership support in the nonprofit sector, with emphasis on the sustainability. Services of this program include: technical assistance, professional development, leadership training, and network building. Community Shares of Colorado is always seeking to expand its impact. According to the organization, in 2020, the inaugural Civic 50 Colorado Survey was launched as a way to measure, recognize, and advocate for the important role of Corporate Social Responsibility in building strong communities.
