Safety:  Safety, freedom, and opportunity lie at the heart of empowerment and self-determination.  The YWCA's comprehensive family violence services create a safe, supportive community within which adults and children can find meaningful opportunities for choices and changes that will help them build violence-free lives.

Opportunity:  It dreams of a world where all women are able to learn, lead, and influence the world around them.  It is committed to offering life-changing opportunities to women:  from the availability of affordable, quality early education for working mothers; to empowering women to get involved and run for public office; to developing young women into strong leaders. 

Advocacy:  It is a voice for change on issues critical to the well-being and future of Utah women and girls.  It advocates for all women and girls in Utah and are focused on three policy areas:  Economic Empowerment and Advancement for Women and Girls; Racial Justice & Civil Rights for Women and Girls of Color; and Health and Safety for Women and Girls.
