imaginative play to connect us. Treehouse fosters empathy and collaboration and helps create confident, life-long learners.

Treehouse Children’s Museum offers nearly 30,000 square feet of colorful and engaging exhibits in the Elizabeth Stewart Treehouse Museum building in downtown Ogden, Utah. At its center stands a 30 foot tall tree surrounded by two levels of unique, handcrafted exhibits that are “sets” for both imaginative play and content learning. Treehouse’s programming includes daily theater and art explorations, plus storybook parties and events, residencies and workshops with at least 8 nationally published children’s book authors and illustrators each year, and two hour field trips with Treehouse ParticiPlays®, storytelling, and visual art activities for the students. Treehouse supports parents in their role as their role as their child’s first teacher by providing Kindergarten readiness materials and programs and supports elementary, preschool, and Head Start educators by providing resources including 2-hour field trips and workshops and other enrichment resources to enhance their curriculum. Treehouse, along with its literacy partners, distributes more than 40,000 free or $1, new children’s books to families and schools in Northern Utah each year.
