The programs offered by the Miami Valley Council – Scouting America are:
• Cub Scouts: For boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade, Cub Scouts focuses on fun, age
appropriate activities that build foundations for leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness, often involving
parents and guardians.
• Scouts BSA: The traditional Scouting program for youth aged 11-17 (formerly known as Boy Scouts),
Scouts BSA provides opportunities for outdoor adventures like camping, hiking, and exploring, alongside
character development, citizenship training, and leadership skills development.
