Marygrove is one of the largest therapeutic residential treatment programs in Missouri. Between 7/1/23-6/30/24, the agency served 168 children, adolescents, and young adults who were struggling with behavioral, emotional, or other mental health issues, often as a result of abuse, neglect, and/or other early childhood traumas. Marygrove enriches the lives of young people, ages 6-21, through a broad continuum of residential and community-based programming and wraparound services, including therapeutic residential treatment and foster care, transitional and independent living, special education and recreational therapy, family counseling, and parenting education. The desired outcome for each child is to learn how to manage their mental health condition and develop life skills so they can move to a less restrictive environment – with family, a responsible relative, a foster or adoptive home, or to live independently.
