Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina works to grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. To become eligible for a wish, a child must be between age two-and-a-half and 18-years old, diagnosed with a medical condition that is life-threatening (malignant, progressive, and/or degenerative), and have not received a wish from any other wish-granting organization. Volunteer wish granting teams, along with staff wish managers and wish granters, work out details to ensure the child’s one true wish can become reality.
