Home of the Innocents is organized into three service divisions, each designed to serve a specific community need. Residential Treatment & Emergency Shelter offers care to children who are survivors of abuse, abandonment, and neglect by providing shelter and treatment for up to 65 children. Behavioral Health Services offers behavioral and mental health care to children and families and support services through multiple community-based services, including parenting classes. The Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center maintains 76 beds, the only ones in the region dedicated to the long-term skilled nursing needs of children with medically complex conditions.
