Individual/Family Therapy: CHNK offers both individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families grappling with mental illness, addiction, or behaviors that negatively impact their daily lives at home, in the classroom, in the workplace, and within the community. Where: In person or via telehealth.
Psychiatric Medication Management: CHNK's board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief supportive therapy for patients aged 6 and older. GeneSight testing is also available. Where: CHNK Outpatient Treatment Center (Covington, KY) and via telehealth (for established patients).
Day Treatment Program: In partnership with select Northern Kentucky school districts, CHNK offers comprehensive therapeutic and academic care for high risk elementary, middle school, & high school age youth, providing an environment in which students can better manage anxiety, emotions, problematic behavior, and mental illness while still engaging in learning. Where: CHNK Devou Park campus, CHNK Burlington campus, and various NKY schools.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP}: Designed for adolescents and adults, CHNK's PHP uses a trauma-informed, multidisciplinary approach to treat significant mental health diagnoses (including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder) and also substance use issues. PHPs are intended to reduce the need for hospitalization or residential care. Where: CHNK Outpatient Treatment Center (Covington, KY).
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP}: We offer multiple IOP programs that follow a structured, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach to therapeutic care for children who need help recognizing, managing, and overcoming mental health and/or substance use disorders. Where: CHNK Outpatient Treatment Center (Covington, KY) and select Northern Kentucky schools.
Targeted Case Management: For youth, adults, and families requiring assistance outside of their behavioral health needs, our Targeted Case Managers provide individualized attention that helps connect each client and family with other community resources and/or services that may be beneficial to them. Where: In person or via telehealth.
Psychiatric Residential Treatment: CHNK provides 24/7 residential care for youth who have one or more significant mental health diagnoses and are either at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or have been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. Where: CHNK Devou Park campus (Covington, KY).
