The Cabbage Patch offers service in three key areas: education, recreation, and family development. It offers after-school activities throughout the school year, Monday to Fridays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. It also offers summer camps and summer programming. Programs include tutoring, interest-based clubs, performing and visual arts, college and career preparation, and sports. Daily meals are available to youth through a partnership with Dare to Care. The College Scholars Program gives around 40 students a year college scholarships and mentoring to help them in their higher education pursuits. For families, services offered include a food pantry, rent and utility assistance, financial coaching, and educational programs. Families can also participate in the Back to School program and Christmas Partner program.
