Scouting is committed to serve all youth regardless of their socio-economic situation, programs reach youth that are many times at greater risk of failure or setbacks, providing the best possible adult and peer role models for youth searching for individual identity.
Cub Scout members, boys, ages 6 to 10, learn social and personal values such as fairness, citizenship, scientific curiosity, good habits, positive attitudes, and craftwork through weekly group meetings and activities. Boy Scouts, boys ages 11 to 18, and Venture Scouts, boys and girls ages 14 -20, enjoy pride of accomplishment, peer recognition and growing self-esteem while participating in the challenge of Scout activities at regular scheduled meetings and activities. Scouting encourages each youth to adopt and live by meaningful personal standards as a cornerstone for success in life. Boy Scouts learn to develop personal strengths through example and hands-on experience.
Outdoor Program –Camping offers opportunities for young people to develop lifetime skills in the outdoors, to learn fundamentals of leadership and to put into practice the ethical values they experience in Scouting.
