Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky, or OAK, provides resources and support to women with ovarian and other gynecologic cancers through networking/support groups, community educational programs, and research funding, ultimately helping to ensure earlier diagnosis and treatment.

OAK provides support to women affected by ovarian and other gynecologic cancers through a monthly support group, survivor celebration, “Teal Sister Care Bags,” which offers comfort items to women undergoing treatment, gift cards for gas, groceries, and food, survivor retreats, an annual educational symposium, and Survivor Teaching Students, where survivors share their stories with medical and nursing students.
