Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana and its Cancer Support Community partners uplift and strengthen people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care. It is dedicated to creating a support system unlike any other.

Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana provides psychosocial support to anyone with any kind of cancer connection, at any stage of life. Programs include support and networking groups for those living with cancer, in survivorship and bereaved, along with special groups for family, friends, and caregivers; social events; educational programs; health and wellness programs; and resource/referral assistance. Some programs are offered in Spanish as well. All programs are free to participants. It also offers free, short-term cancer-specific counseling support for individuals, couples, and family groups. Gilda’s Club has two service sites: one at 2440 Grinstead Drive and the other inside the Republic Bank Foundation YMCA at 17th and Broadway. Two new Southern Indiana service sites will open in summer 2024: Gilda’s Floyd in New Albany and Gilda’s Clark in Jeffersonville. Its programs are offered in multiple formats: in person, virtual only, and hybrid.
