Glaucoma Research Foundation (GRF) reports that it encourages research toward better treatments for people with glaucoma. The organization aims to attract innovative scientists, doctors and ideas to the field of glaucoma research. GRF sponsors the annual Glaucoma 360 meetings to encourage collaboration, and provides education and support for those with glaucoma, their families and friends. The organization's website has information and news for glaucoma patients and their families. A free booklet, “Understanding and Living with Glaucoma,” may be ordered or downloaded from the website. GRF’s free newsletter, Gleams, provides information about glaucoma treatments and research. Gleams is available in print and email editions.
