Vulcan's Forge Performing Arts Collaborative meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Stated Purpose:
Dedicated to providing the disabled community of Greater Cincinnati a forum to express their art, their voice, their lives.
Year, State Incorporated:
2016, OH
Vulcan’s Forge Performing Arts Collaborative serves artists challenged with disabilities, mental, physical, and emotional, to have their work presented to the Greater Cincinnati public while providing an environment where all artists can fellowship. Drawing on local arts organizations, Vulcan’s Forge instructs visual artists in design and performance. Vulcan’s Forge enlists the plays and stories of writers, with and without disabilities, who want to speak about their experiences with disability. All the talents of many diverse artisans will give disabled actors and dancers an arena in which to exert their craft, make their mark, and tell their story. Vulcan’s Forge culminates these talents into pieces of collective, performance art, while allowing everyone in the Disabled Community to participate, and everyone else to admire while creating a bond between all artists within the area. Vulcan’s Forge seeks inclusion for the disabled community of all races, ethnicities, sexes, and identities championed by its arts.
