The mission of The Royal Oak Foundation
is to raise awareness of and advance the work of the National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland by inspiring support from the United States for the
Trust’s efforts to preserve and protect historic places and spaces—forever, and for everyone.

Membership: Public relations program to make the general public aware of and experience the historic and natural spaces in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland - unlimited admission to more than 350 historic sites of outstanding interest and importance in the care of the National Trust of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland and over 600,000 acres of natural landscape; reduced admission price for US lectures and tours. 5,400 households were enrolled in membership at the end of 2024.
Education (Lectures and Tours): Events, tours, and lectures on preservation and history of architecture and decorative interiors, houses, and gardens. In 2024, almost 4,000 people attended a total of 37 unique lectures and 4 tours given in 5 cities, as well as virtually on Zoom, during our Spring and Fall program seasons.
Grants: Grants in support of the National Trust of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland and other preservation societies for the protection and restoration of important and historic sites, as well as grants for landscape and environmental conservation. Grants and scholarships totaling $882,435 were made in 2024.
